Composer. Sound designer. Audio Engineer. Based in Los Angeles.
Intro
I am obsessed with sound and music — conception, production, modification, collaboration. I revel in working and playing in the abstraction of the auditory realm.

Work
In a world of increasingly granular and siloed roles in media production, I bridge the gap between the creative and the technical. Whether it’s scoring film and short-form comedy, creating sonic branding and promotional materials, editing and mixing audio, producing podcasts, or managing and running studio spaces: I marry sound and vision.
Most recently, I’ve continued to engineer and sound design Amanda Seales’s podcast Small Doses, a show I’ve been working on since its inception during my stint as engineer and composer at Starburns Audio — formerly a boutique podcast network in Burbank, CA.
I relish the opportunity to push into new areas and genres, to inject musicality into audio design and post-production, and to continue synthesizing work and play, as in my most recent freelance musical project: a conceptual instrumental rock album incorporating sounds and ambience from real dive bars for Miller High Life (that was eventually pressed onto—I kid you not—a Miller High Life-filled vinyl record).
My CV
I’ve found myself working in sound and music production in some form since high school. At Dartmouth College, I ran the student studio and was recording manager for my singing group at the time, the Aires.
In my professional career, I’ve made a habit of bringing a holistic approach to audio post-production: wherever possible, to inject life, originality, and personality into any project — using my technical skills in hardware and software in conjunction with years of experience as a musician, multi-instrumentalist, and performer.
Los Angeles is my home, for now — a wretched hive of scum and villainy. And I think I love it.
